Dear Gettysburg College students,
In honor of Founder's Day on April 7th, we join together tomorrow as a community to celebrate Gettysburg College’s 187th birthday.
Founder's Day provides an opportunity for each of us to reflect on our College’s history, share our Gettysburg pride, and commit to advancing our values of effective leadership and socially responsible citizenship.
I hope you will participate in our festivities by:
- Posting your Gettysburg pride on social media
- Wearing your orange and blue throughout the weekend
- Joining us for cake and ice cream in the Bullet Hole tomorrow at 5 p.m.
- Listening to the bells of Glatfelter chime 18 times on Sunday (once for each decade) at noon
